The gland is part of the decision
The label rules out tesamorelin when the system that releases growth hormone has been damaged or disrupted. This includes removal of the gland that releases growth hormone, or that gland no longer working properly.
That system can be disrupted by a tumour, an operation, radiation directed at the head, or an injury to the head.
